Founded in Galway in 1997, Insomnia Coffee has grown from a single café in the back of a bookshop to Ireland’s leading independent coffee chain.

Today, we operate 155 coffee shops across Ireland and the UK, both company-owned and in partnership with SPAR, EUROSPAR, Londis, Mace, and Co-op, along with over 600 self-service locations nationwide.

At our core, we are deeply rooted in community. Our cafés act as local hubs, fostering connection, creating meaningful employment, and supporting Irish suppliers and partners.
